A group of 5 Artists from Yuin Country in the Shoalhaven District on New South Wale's South Coast, reflect on what 'other places' mean for them, either that place they find within, through travel, or in nature, that transports them out of the ordinary, into something revelatory. My exhibition paintings represent rock forms with embedded crystals that I have found on my ocean walks or when fossicking. The discovery of glistening light and other worldly colours captivate, immersing me into that 'other place' where transcendence beyond the ordinary emerges.
