Memorial

At the southern end of the beach a giant Bluff has become a shrine with plaques dedicated to those lives lost with a passion for the sea and surf. People circle it like a prayer wheel and the rock, charged with these vested prayers, continues to animate life through memory and respect. During the Black Summer fires its presence was ever more intense thinking of all those threatened and those who had lost their lives.
