After heavy storms deposited sand a new beach was created.
Walking along a remote rock platform in the South Coast, where various seabirds gather, including the very rare hooded plovers, a new beach was discovered. Heavy storms had deposited a mass of sand that filled preexisting rock crevices, creating a sandy shore.
